The first verses he declared our Prophet Muhammad were the first five verses of sura "Alaq" where Allah says: "Read in the name of your Lord, Who created (everything). (Alaq, 1). Divine Order "Read" is not directed only Prophet personally, but extended to all Muslim Ummah.
All prophets before Prophet Muhammad, conquer over their opponents miracles. Moses, nor his staff, Noah, the tornado that destroyed his enemies, neither Hood strong wind (storm) etc ... But ummah Muhammad triumphed and will triumph only with knowledge and education. Even in the life of the Prophet were experienced miracles, but they were not the axis of change, were not determinants of triumph and victory. They were only to morally support the Prophet and the Muslims.
Change and triumph for Muslims the day will come when they cling to their religion, to commit themselves to it, to education and to put into practice the knowledge they have received.
Second Surah was revealed to the Prophet is Surah Qalam, which means writing feather in particular or in general writing tool. The very name of the sura "Kalam" talks about this. God says in the first verse of this surah: "I swear that pen and write" (Kalem, 1)
The very word "knowing" is mentioned 224 times in the Holy Quran. Name of God "the All" is mentioned 185 times, "knowledge" is mentioned 375 times in Sahih Bukhari is a separate chapter titled "knew" that contains one hundred and two hadiths in which the word knowledge, wisdom.
Prophet A.Ş. in a hadith narrated by Muslim said: "Allah will ease the way for human paradise that follows the path to seek knowledge in this world."
These precious words highlight the value of knowledge and promote its study. Verses and hadiths that show clearly the importance and value of knowledge and those that promote the research and its absorption, are numerous. From the Quranic verses mention: Allah says: "Allah bears witness, as well as angels, the people of knowledge, there is no god worthy of worship except Him. There is no god but Him, the Almighty, the Wise. "(Ali Imran, 18)
Qurtubi in his Tafseer regarding the interpretation of this verse says: "This verse is the argument for the value of knowledge and scholars.
If any other category would be appreciated more than scholars, then Allah will mention it along with his name mentioned as angels and scholars in this verse.
If there was something more valuable than knowledge, then Allah Ta'ala will command His Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, to pray to Allah to add it as taught to pray for the addition of knowledge.
"... My Lord, increase me in knowledge!" (Ta-ha, 114). Prophet A.Ş. said: "Whoever takes way to learn wisdom, that Allah will ease the way to paradise and angels as respect for the work that carries a seeker of knowledge spread their wings above. For the scholar apologize (istighfar) what has to find and on earth, even the fish in the water. The value of the scholar compared to the worshiper (what makes worship) is like the moon in comparison to other planets. Indeed the scholars are the inheritors of the Prophets and Messengers have bequeathed or dinars or dirhams, but have left them wisdom. Who gets out of it (legacy), has had a good fortune. "(Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi).
No doubt that knowledge is one of the main needs and conditions for the establishment and progress of the individual and society. The need for knowledge and knowledge is never extinguished; as a need for food, so is the food science of the mind and soul. Learning and education in Islam are designated by the word of Allah in the Holy Qur'an, the hadith of the Prophet All Muslims are commanded to learn and study from the cradle to the grave. "The Prophet said: "The teaching of knowledge is obligatory upon every Muslim and Muslim". (Ibn Majah, Mukadime). We know that iman (faith) is the soul of religion, however revelation began with "read, teach" and not "believe".
Knowledge is the road that leads to paradise, the only interlocutor, guiding towards goodness, help in trouble and strong weapon against enemies. Abu Darda said: "Wisdom is life for the hearts of blindness, eyes light from darkness". A ummah is not interested to gain knowledge and a youth that does research and scientific research, it is difficult to recover and develop. Being successful in the scientific field, the përvetësosh knowledge and new knowledge to deal with discoveries and scientific research, is essential for the development of every people and every nation. Imam Shafi'i (Allah have mercy on him) said: "There is nothing good comes from him who does not love wisdom. Therefore, not friendly, with such a man, because knowledge is the life of the heart and torch of reason ".
